A New Mexico Woman Is Selling Her Soul On eBay
People can sell their souls on eBay?
A New Mexico woman named Lori is doing just that, and bidding has already jumped from $100 to $405 in just a day.
Describing it as a "slightly used soul," Lori is offering buyers a "Carfax" so they can see the black and white marks her soul has accumulated over the years. Religious bidders can save Lori's soul through conversion or prayer.
Pop culture abounds with examples of people selling their souls to the devil in exchange for money, however, this doesn't seem to be what's motivating Lori.
After being disabled in a drunk driving accident years ago, Lori told NBC 2 that she feels like she's "at the end of her rope" and just wants to connect with another soul.
eBay's policy forbids users from seling human body parts or remains on its site, and the company has removed listings in the past when people tried to do so. For now, you can check out Lori's soul auction online.

Years ago, some wit had the idea of creating a website called the “Celebrity Soul Auction”, claiming they had invented a camera that could “steal souls” by taking someone’s picture.
They made it interesting by having prices starting at 1 dollar, and rating celebrities by popularity, with their ‘bid’ automatically incrementing over time.
Lots of interesting information about how the souls would be won at auction and sent to their new owner, and how they should prepare a jar for them with the celebrities picture taped to it. Along with proper care instructions and how to punish your celebrity soul if it got all poltergeisty on you.
They put a lot of effort into their EULA as well. It was bigger than Google’s.
Since animals don’t seem to have a sense of good or bad (spiritually), there is a circle there which would assert that animals don’t have a spirit, though they have a soul of life, and this same circle would close back on the notion that without a spirit animlas have no sense of God their creator or of things regarding His nature. But I tend to believe animals can project love, and that’s one of God’s aspects, so who knows?
