The below is really making me long for the good old days. Do not like the sound of this show, “The New Normal”. Seems engineered to make minors accept new facts of life. Sigh.

Of course it is. Kind of like the way the 70s TV show "Maude" featured her having an abortion, in order to get folks to start accepting it. After that show, there were a lot of shows that had a character thinking about having an abortion. They didn't, for the most part, but having the 'choice' was always seen as being a 'good thing'.
