The judge in the Trayvon Martin case set the new bond for George Zimmerman at $1 million. But Zimmerman needs to post only a percentage to be freed. His lawyer says he has the money.

A Florida judge ordered George Zimmerman released from jail for a second time if he can raise $100,000 to post bail under a $1 million bond.

Mr. Zimmerman's lawyer, Mark O'Mara, says “The Real George Zimmerman Defense Fund” – a cache of money donated by strangers that Zimmerman and his wife, Shellie, allegedly tried to hide from the court – has enough money to cover the bail. As a result, the alleged murderer of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin is expected to be able once again to leave jail and go into hiding as he awaits trial.

As it is always easier for a defendant and their attorney(s) to prepare their defense outside jail;

and as Z's defense and additional security measures are no doubt very expensive and will eat up that $200k defense fund quickly;

and as this feckless, MORON, biased, judge obviously knows this;

small wonder he placed such an exhorbitant amount for bail, hoping to keep Z incarcerated and making it more difficult on him and (apparently) having prejudged his guilt and intending him to be convicted.

PS: bad enough the IJIT State's Attorney (the media, family, activists, etc.) have tried to prejudice this case now it appears the trial judge has stepped in and helped "Poison the well," with regards to prospective jurrors, with his (unproven) accusations that Z had intended to "absond" with the loot he received from donations and "skip out of the country!"

What a DISGRACE to the bench!!!

First it was evil SUVs and guns but now sidewalks have come to life.

...just wait until someone finds a way to make a gun out of recycled sidewalks and guns...

h. The defendant shall not consume any alcohol.

Patently unbiblical:

Give strong drink to him that is ready to perish, and wine to those that are of heavy hearts. — Pv 31:6

Also, it is likely violative of the FL Constitution:

ARTICLE 1, SECTION 3. Religious freedom.—
There shall be no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting or penalizing the free exercise thereof. Religious freedom shall not justify practices inconsistent with public morals, peace or safety. No revenue of the state or any political subdivision or agency thereof shall ever be taken from the public treasury directly or indirectly in aid of any church, sect, or religious denomination or in aid of any sectarian institution.

While the order isn't a law, its violation would be punishable by law, therefore that law would be prohibiting such exercise.
