Change the location, change the appearance and change the language, but socialism is still socialism. It’s all good to drink the milk, but nobody wants to pay for it.
I agree, socialism is socialism, but I was talking to a Greek immigrant guy at work, and got his prospective. He said that friends and relatives who remained in Greece used to laugh at emigrant Greeks. It's not just the official mess, but Greece has become profoundly corrupt, people take advantage of the system without the least qualms, make dubious claims and are happy to let the Germans pay.
The Danes are living off a reservoir of work ethic and capital, when that runs out they will be as bad off as the Greeks, but without the pleasant climate.
