Yep, and all the while, Romney hatchet men were already working behind the scenes, stabbing her in the back.

Team Romney’s fatal flaw is that they think conservatives are the enemy.

Personally I think Rick Snyder is on the short list.

He’s been under the radar and they can pass off his fiscal record as conservatism however those of us in Michigan know better. His fiscal record is purely by proxy.

Sarah Palin is the antithesis of Mitt Romney and the GOP establishment honchos that made sure he was the 2012 Republican presidential nominee. Palin may be scheduled to speak at the Tampa convention because of her standing as the 2008 Republican party VP nominee but they'll shift her off to some 'dead' time or cancel her speech at the last second due to 'scheduling problems' or some such BS. No one will be fooled.

The always-astute Sarah Palin may well outmaneuver the GOP by speaking at an 'outside' venue (she'll always get TV coverage) and if she still gets to speak at the convention, all the better. If not, she'll have given Republican voters the opportunity to see what they missed (by Palin not running for the nomination) and, perhaps, just perhaps, generate a change in the Republican presidential nominee - but don't get your hopes up. My belief is that the convention will be very tightly scripted and run - with no surprises, except, perhaps Romney's VP choice. If Palin makes a difference, it likely won't be through the GOP convention. Still, she may surprise us all. I hope so.

Right now, the expectations are that the RNC will have some of the lowest TV viewership in recent times.

It appears that Team Mittens doesn’t want anyone to watch the RNC and are betting the farm on the debates instead for Mr. Romneycare to make his case to America.

But that’s not the only reason Romney and the GOP-e want Sarah banned from a prime time TV role at the convention.

I have not seen anything stating that people are attempting to keep Palin from speaking at convention.

But I think we can be sure of one thing. Anyone who does speak at the Republican convention will wholeheartedly endorse the Republican ticket, which includes Mitt Romney.

they'll shift her off to some 'dead' time I am sure that the speakers who get prime time are the ones who enthusiastically endorse the GOP ticket and have been out on the road promoting it this year.

The speakers who will get the best spots will be the ones who have the attitude of "Let me know how I can help. I will do anything."

Team Romney is punting on the convention and have decided to bet the farm on the debates. What are they thinking?
