The nation’s workforce expanded by 189,000 in June, 85,000 were added to social security’s disability rolls while only 80,000 unemployed found jobs, and Obama calls it a “step in the right direction”. Anyone who thinks he deserves another four years must be getting all their news from MSNBC.

Note also that those 84,000 had to have been non-working for a full year before they could even apply for disability. So, it is not that they lost a job on Friday and go on disability the following Monday. SS has supposedly streamlined the process, but it still takes months -- after that year of non-work -- medical evidence, and several hearings to qualify for disability.
