If the resort owners are worried about gun-related violence, maybe they should try to appeal to a better class of customers. The gun owners I know would never think of being a threat to anyone at the casino.

Maybe the problem is too much New York thinking moving into Las Vegas.

You’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya punk?

It seems totally appropriate to me that a high-end, historical, Italian gun-maker would have a store in a place named the Palazzo at the Venetian. It just seems to extend the Italian ambiance and does not detract from the exclusive nature of the property in question, especially with the prices mentioned in the article.
The lawyers are just trying to vacuum some more money from Adelson’s significant wallet because they have neither contract nor zoning law to support a successful appeal.

I am not sure how to put this into words, but guns to liberals are more obscene then pornography. Pornography does not threaten their power actually it furthers their agenda it for the violence it may beget furthers the need for countless social programs. Pornography does not empower the individual it degrades them, guns on the other hand are something that gives an equality to people even if it is the ability to inflict death. Guns can be action beyond words, they give the raw power of the ultimate judgment call to the common citizen. The government loses control in what is the most important issue of all, guns become the ultimate refutation of all that socialists stand for. So the placement of a gun shop, which is to them an abomination, becomes a huge issue. Beretta makes beautiful guns which can be works of art, but it is not about the guns but the concept of guns to a liberal.

I would think they’d welcome this because currently hotel concierges are having to send tourists off the Strip to a really horrible part of town to be able to shoot a gun at a range. I know, because I’ve been to the gun shop/ range enough. We have taxis advertising the opportunity to shoot a real machine gun...again at an off Strip location. It would seem to be smart business to keep the tourists on the Strip.
