Witness: Woman Working At Inn Brutally Murdered By Naked Man

TRACY (CBS13) – A naked man who may have been on drugs was arrested Saturday for killing a Tracy motel employee.

Andrew Carreiro, 25, is behind bars accused of killing the 62-year-old woman who cleans rooms at the Hacienda Inn on the 600 block of West 11th Street.

Witnesses say they found Cerreiro covered in blood and standing near the partially naked body of the woman, say witnesses.

“[It’s] most definitely the craziest thing I’ve seen in my life; most definitely,” said Jermaine Haynes, a motel resident who made the gruesome discovery.

The scene is something Haynes says he wishes he’d never witnessed, and says he knew the victim.

“She comes to our room everyday and she cleans rooms,” he said.

At around 7 p.m. Saturday, Andrew Carreiro knocked on Haynes’ motel door selling candy and acting strange, said Haynes. “He was on like cloud 20. I don’t know what he was on, but he was on something though.”

Soon after being turned away, Carreiro starting breaking windows at the motel, said Haynes. But as Haynes and others ran to stop him, Carreiro disappeared. A few minutes later, there was commotion coming from inside the management apartment.

“The dude wouldn’t open the door again, so we kicked the window in. It was crazy, it was just crazy,” said Haynes.

Haynes and others said they broke in, and what they discovered was gruesome.

“The lady was like half-naked, and he was butt naked — blood all over him. It was crazy, man,” said Haynes.

“All the dude kept saying was like, ‘I didn’t do nothing. I didn’t do nothing.’ He was like out of his mind, delirious,” said Haynes.

Haynes and others were able to hold Carreiro until police arrived

The victim was taken to the Tracy Sutter Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Office staff at the motel refused our request for an interview.

Bath salts are chemicals fashioned into designer drugs for snorting up the nose.

They are called "bath salts" and labeled as "not for human consumption" simply to skirt laws for things ingested.

As bath salts, they are sold legally over the counter in convenience stores and head shops. They have nothing to do with baths or salts.

Miami comes to the world... it's revenge of the lowlifes - retaliation of born losers... the last high of ‘the creepy ones’...

A high for $2.99? Draws lowlifes like flies to a rotting rat carcass.

Bath salts are a byproduct of the War On Drugs; if a comparatively benign and well-understood drug like marijuana was legal, there'd be no incentive for those seeking intoxication to mess with crazy sh*t like bath salts.

Problem is, none of these zombies have come back on their dealers and eaten THEM.

I read that these “zombies” burn up from the inside and never live anyway. At least that is what I read when all this first began. This whole thing is so repugnant to me.

Pot is not benign.

Stoners are just as stupid.

How about stoned driving? That is not so much fun to the victims.

Which part of "comparatively" did you not understand?

Stoners are just as stupid.

The topic of this thread is not stupidity but psychopathic violence. When was the last time a stoner ate someone's face? Bags of Doritos, sure ...

How about stoned driving? That is not so much fun to the victims.

Nor drunk driving - should we reinstitute Prohibition?

I think it’s the ‘covered with blood’ that caught my attention.. No mention of a weapon or that she was shot. More likely he cut her up with window pane shards. Also, the witness spoke of ‘gruesome’.. It was a quick and impassioned savage attack.. Very z0mbie-esque.

Of course feral subhumans would still take insane drugs like bath salts. MJ is easily available right now, very few places even bother with small time or regular users. Sheesh, you liberaltarians need to invent some new talking points.

When I was a MJ smoker I got it all the time usually for free just by hanging around people who smoked it. What planet do you live on? Of course that was decades ago but I’m sure the doper scene is little different in that regard.

Feral subhumans ingest bath salts because they want to go batshit rabid crazy and nothing will stop them except a bullet to the head and the sooner the better IMHO.

I was looking for a pipe to smoke some great smelling tobacco. I went into an arab connivence store selling Hookas and other junk. The goofy illegal alien tried to sell me designer grass. He told me to smoke this crap. It was ten bucks. I don’t know what he was selling? any ideas?

The Mex Cartel weed is plenty strong enough to cause you lots of problems thinking straight. Some custom growers ‘spike’ their stuff to make it stronger. I have been told they’ll use anything including ketamine, coke and acid to do this. Does anyone have practical experience out there?

Wow! They are sold legally? So, I suppose minors have no problem getting their hands on them.

While I have mixed feelings about the WOD, I think your statement is probably an oversimplification.

Problem is we have too many rudderless individuals, supported by our tax dollars, who amuse themselves through serial sexual exploits and drug experimentation, while contributing nothing to society. Legalizing drugs won’t change their behavior.

As for pot smokers, I have never met one who was not a loser of some sort even though he might be able to hold down a job.

That’s a good question. I guess if they are unregulated, kids can buy them. But, I don’t know for sure.

Bath salts again?

Prolly. Sounds like it has PCP properties that make the users get hot and take their clothes off. Of course, maybe it's just the heat wave.

Well for sure I don’t.

But I was in a hotel lobby in San Francisco last week when a middle-aged man came running into the area where a large number of us were gathered for drinks. I was looking down at my phone and didn’t see him as he ran full speed into the edge of the high-back chair in which I was sitting. He hit so hard it turned my chair around. Then he got up and ran to another corner of the room, and sat in a chair. Immediately he began fiddling with something next to the chair, behaving very strangely. Everyone was watching. Someone summoned a security guard and when he approached the man he leaped up, grabbing a cushion from a couch at the same time. He used the cushion to wipe his brow of sweat as he paced around the room. Finally he ran out of the hotel. The whole thing was very strange, and I’m sure we were all wondering if he was going to get violent.

I’ve heard of a drug called “spice” that induces psychotic episodes in some users — a synthetic marijuana. And right now it’s supposedly quite popular.

I also think there are probably many, many more incidents of crazed drug users that are going unreported.

I have no idea where I'd even start to find it.

Nonsense. While real crimes like murder and theft are quite rightly higher enforcement priorities in most if not all jurisdictions, only a handful have reduced it to a ticketable offense - everywhere else there is a real chance of being arrested. The police blotter column in my small suburban community's newspaper has one or more possession arrests almost every week.

Feral subhumans ingest bath salts because they want to go batshit rabid crazy

New century, same old Reefer Madness propaganda. There may be a very few people who actually want the very worst effects of bath salts - but there are many more who want to get generally 'f***ed up' while avoiding a possession arrest.

'An expert on toxicology testing said marijuana alone wasn't likely to cause behavior as strange as Eugene's.

'"The problem today is that there is an almost an infinite number of chemical substances out there that can trigger unusual behavior," said Dr. Bruce Goldberger, Professor and Director of Toxicology at the University of Florida.

'[...] it's nearly impossible for toxicology testing to keep pace with new formulations of synthetic drugs.

'"There are many of these synthetic drugs that we currently don't have the methodology to test on, and that is not the fault of the toxicology lab. The challenge today for the toxicology lab is to stay on top of these new chemicals and develop methodologies for them but it's very difficult and very expensive." Goldberger said. "There is no one test or combination of tests that can detect every possible substance out there."'

Another effect of the War On Drugs - note that purveyors of the legal drug alcohol don't spike their product.
