Problem is we have too many rudderless individuals, supported by our tax dollars, who amuse themselves through serial sexual exploits and drug experimentation, while contributing nothing to society. Legalizing drugs won’t change their behavior.
Red herring - I'm not talking about getting them to lead exemplary lives but about lessening their incentive to make bath salts their drug of choice.
As for pot smokers, I have never met one who was not a loser of some sort even though he might be able to hold down a job.
Another red herring - the vast majority of "losers" manage to not chew off anyone's face. Nor is it government's business if one is a "loser."
It has no connection at all to real marijuana, and I wish the local news would stop calling it "synthetic marijuana," because I'm sure some kids are taking it and expecting the relatively benign effects of MJ.
The War On Drugs propagandists don't give a sh!t about kids. Their goal is to associate MJ with truly nasty drugs in the minds of voters - and they'll unblinkingly sacrifice as many kids as it takes.
