I was just thinking, and perhaps its a bizarre thought to have, but what about The Bangles?

The Bangles are an American female-pop group who scored a major hit with "Walk Like An Egyptian" back in the 1986 along with a quirky video.

Well, I was just thinking that if The Bangles had to record a video for the song today, they would probably have to wear burkas. The Bangles in burkas...that's an image that I am going to have to get myself used to.

I saw the Bangles in concert at Six Flags Over Texas many years ago. I am so glad they weren't wearing burkas. I liked Susanna Hoffs already, but a couple of the other band members also looked good in person.

Thought of the Bangles as well (class of ‘85) and my crush on the girls. But also flashbacked to Steve Martin’s ‘King Tut’. I will even admit to having owned the album...
