The scriptures say, “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness?”
1 Thess 4:1-8 says that whoever rejects the command against sexual immorality has rejected God. I don’t know how any Christian can remain in a denomination that accepts gay marriage.
My congregation left the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America two years ago because of the ELCA’s continued pattern of diobedience to Scripture—accepting gasbian clergy being the final manifestation.
Because of that departure we are no longer part of the LARC (Lutheran, Anglican & Roman Catholic) Covenant which had obligated us to pray for Bishop Nathan Baxter—one of the more outspoken revisionists cited in this article.
But he still need our prayers—for conversion!
