I think they probably had a good idea who they were dealing with, but if someone shows the proper paper work, what can prevent it? I thought it suspicious though, that she removed their stores name and address from the ammunition boxes she sold.

I thought the explanation that they had problems with people out shooting in the desert and leaving their trashed boxes there to be plausible.

The question would be, did they order ammunition with the addresses on the boxes after a certain point?

I believe if the government had enough evidence they would have already been charged and headed to trial. I think they have been waiting for them to plead guilty like the people from Columbus did.

I really don’t know what happened but I wouldn’t doubt if he was set up, I don’t know anyone who is as anti-government as Rick and he was very vocal about it.

I remember asking a tire dealer once how he could sell tires to people that we knew were drug dealers and he said he had no qualms about it. So knowing that people might seem fishy doesn’t preclude some honest people from doing business with them. I’m glad that I don’t have to deal with retail, especially in a small town where you know so much and wonder why the cops know so little.
