Europe is going down because of the "gimmes". Socialism is growing around the world by the day. We are obviously next in line with the socialist/Marxist policies of our current president and senate.

Unless the States rebel, this great experiment in individual freedom, self-enterprise, self-reliability, self-accountability is dead.

You and I can hope for a majority House, majority Senate, and White House, but don't bet yours or your childrens' or grand-childrens' future on popular or electoral votes.

Think, NULLIFICATION by the Individual States! It's long past to tell the Fedgov to shove its over-reaching unConstitutional mandates!

Many of us have been saying this for some time. VetsCoR was on the cutting edge of this concept many years back! As hard as we tried, few wanted to listen. They were about their political favorites and thought their guys/gals would fix things (remember McCain/Sarah?). So where are we now?

Oh, right, we're going to maintain a House majority, gain a Senate majority, and a RINO in the Oval Office. Do you really think that Obamataxcare will be repealed entirely? I so hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. That's why:

STATE NULLIFICATION! Just Say No!
The 10th Amendment Must Be Restored!

For you CWII types that think the Fedgov would attack the States for non-compliance, you're living in a dream world. NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE has the stomach for that kind of conflict in this age. It would come down to lawsuits between the States and Fedgov like Arizona and others. The USSC could say the States are wrong, but no one would enforce their pathetic decisions.

Bottom line: If Obama can ignore the Legislative Branch, then the States can ignore him and his dictates.

Bring back the peseta and inflate your way out of this mess. It is the only way.

Bring back Franco. Spain’s economy grew faster than any other country, except Japan, in the 60s and early 70s.

A 21 percent national sales tax? That’s what local government income recipients are yelling for here (”FAIR” tax) while pretending to be conservatives.

A VAT under any name is an economy killer for sure. They’ll cut spending in all levels of government, or no sale. If they continue hiking taxes and fees, they’ll repudiate and adjust the currency even sooner (heavy layoffs and “haircuts” for government income recipients). Friends, avoid any personal purchases that you don’t really need. Become more self-sufficient, and learn to produce something useful as a hobby for now.

Wow, they no longer have a choice and had to accept......

"Unemployment benefits will be cut.
Interest on mortgages will no longer be tax deductable.
Public employees will lose their Christmas bonus
– a de facto pay cut –
and will have to work longer,
prompting a general strike threat from the country’s unions. "

Soulds like the direction OBozo would take if he gets a second try.

Hmm. I think that you are wrong about that.
Attack? Well, no, but they would certainly send in massive Federal manpower, up to and including National Guard units, to arrest and confine the leaders of said states.

Pacification of the population would then enter full swing and anything could set off some level of breakdown in Civil order.
It is that breakdown in itself that would cause die off.

Any of these things could be done, especially with an order of Emergency Action, probably after many financial and infrastructural sanctions were levied.

>NO ONE has the stomach for that kind of conflict in this age.
Sure about that are you?
Did you ever believe that the Department of Eduction would have numerous SWAT teams, or that LEOs would deploy drones over American soil?

Europe is going down because of the "gimmes".

On a lighter note, the liberals in my life have stopped telling me how superior Europeans are to us...

I am a firm believer in State sovereignty. If the Federal Senators wish to sign treaties with the United Nations and my governor chooses not to go along, I will support my governor and our state Constitution. If he does go along I’ll fight to get rid of him and all like him. I do not want to become part of the New World Order. I refuse to partake in Agenda 21.

Why do I feel that way? Because I believe our federal government is under foreign management. There is no reason on God’s green earth why Republican legislators shouldn’t have demanded that Zero fess up and display all of his paperwork, including the birth certificate. We should never ever question did he go to college and who were his professors, girl friends, drinking buddies. The same goes for the woman, I believe she is one, who calls herself his wife.

Our national borders have become state property with state sheriffs more concerned about who crosses them than the Dept. of Homeland Security is.

Our SCOTUS is awash with people who shouldn’t be there. Zero held a private meeting with the Justices before he was even elected! What do they think they are doing permitting such a thing to occur?

Jesus said if you refuse to work then nobody should feed you. We have generations of people who have refused to work to feed, clothe or house themselves and their families. We need to bring that type of welfare to a halt. If you have a history of working then fine, cash the check we give you but if you have never held a job then grab a fishing pole and feed yourself. People who want to wait for FEMA can do just that but don’t count on them ever arriving at your doorstep.

I am not overly concerned with the Chinese buying up large businesses here in the US. It is not difficult to mess with their supply lines or the manager’s home utilities if they become anti-American. It is amazing what a small tube of super glue and some fine sand will do to someone’s locks. Yes, locks on cars, trucks, buildings, aircraft, boats, gates, cameras, Ethernet connections, USB ports, laptop power switches, mailboxes, tool sheds, you name it. Never think that you or your children will be powerless just because someone else says they have the authority to do ........

I am not particularly concerned about this UN treaty that will control civilian firearms. If I ever need one, I know what officials carry them. I know where they store the rifles and ammunition. In my mind they are public property, bought with state tax dollars, to be used only to defend the state and the citizens of the state.

Any official who believes they should be used against the state or the citizens of the state will find himself on the wrong end of the barrel in short order should he ever order violence against the general population.

Your state congressman and senators are more important in your daily life than the feds are. Concentrate your energies on electing conservative Christians who go to Sunday services with their families. Attend your city council meetings. Be aware of who is truly on your side and who is against you. Learn what LEO’s you can trust and those you aren’t sure of.

In other words, just use your head before you do something.
