In my opinion, a real "man" has only one duty: He is to always defend innocent women and children -- under all circumstances, at all times.

If a man fails to perform this most basic duty, then he fails as a man. Case closed.

Paterno failed as a man. There can be no other conclusion made.

I understand you're a woman. So why are you excusing/rationalizing/minimizing the inaction of a man (Paterno) who failed to perform his moral duty to protect children?
