I wonder if the MSM will update this story, now that it is known that the gun did not just "go off" when the officer was hugged from behind...

continuing to push the tragic, hug-from-behind, the gun just went off scenario She was 'hugging his behind', not 'hugging him from behind'. The initial version was close to the truth.

Seems to be some confusion regards guns and weapons going off.

He is probably lucky she didn’t bite down when the gun went off, either gun.

On a prior thread, I was saying the only way the angles worked was if she was on her knees giving him head at the time.
I'm going to further guess that what happened is that she undid his belt, his pants started to fall due to the weight of his gun, he grabbed for it and it went off.
If the above guess is correct, then the officer is liable for negligence charges.

I still think that the WIFEY did it.
She was ‘dancing’ with her husband when Ms. Miller grabbed his behind from behind. It would be easy for her to reach in, grab his gun, and fire it. Only Officer Parrish would know what happened, and I’m sure he isn’t going to tell.

A new and "exotic" version of suicide by cop?
Officer Parrish was at a party being serviced by a woman who was inconveniently not his wife...
Karma is a bit@h.

My first suspicion was that she was on her knees being forced at gunpoint; the firearm was a perfectly safe Glock; and the cop was a perfectly trained thug of the worst sort.

Sometime in the late 1970s there was a group-some in an Arlington apartment ~ several guys, several gals, and one of the guys had a gun and he was letting the gals kiss it ~ and this crowd was really partying and next thing you know this young woman had blown her head off, and he had to go to the hospital for some reconstructive surgery as well.
When it was all over and the who struck johns figured out they prosecuted the guy!
He went to prison for a good long while.
You asked!

Only Officer Parrish would know what happened, and Im sure he isnt going to tell. I doubt it. There were other people there who would have to collaborate the story. Covering up deliberate murder on behalf of a buddy's wife is not something the average guy will do. If anything, they would see it as a benefit to their buddy if wife goes to prison for life, as he gets the property and kids, and gets to acquire a new, younger wife.

When this story first came out I was scratchin my head but thought maybe the cop was wearing this kind of holster. But if the angle was too downward, I don't see how either.
