Power’s out here, and it’s pouring down rain out of a tiny but heavy rain cell that’s right over The Fortress!
It is raining “pitchforks and small black children” as a friend said earlier. It is a-comin’ down!
Somehow, my Intertubes is still working, but that may not last.
I sure hope that the rain keeps up, for the sake of our poor dead lawn, but more so for the farmer whose fields surround our property. His corn is really looking stunted this year.

This has been a tough summer for losing power. We have a chance of thunderstorms beginning on Sunday, but nothing ‘til then. The midwest and south are covered with yellow and red cells.
