Sandusky was guilty of homosexual rape of a child. But the matter of homosexuality is buried. Sandusky is a classic pederast, and that means —usually a same sex relationship.Very seldom tea and sympathy.

The same thought process, more easily applied, explains why the administration at PSU looked the other way once it was brought to their attention. There is no way that someone with Spanier’s record on LGBT issues was going to do anything to punish Sandusky.
