Kasich would be the perfect choice. He could be the surprise pick. Kasich or Rubio would be fine with me. Rubio is only 40 years old. I could see Romney, who would be 70 years old in four years, not running again, and passing the batton to Rubio, who could serve eight years and still be a young man when he left office. He would definitely take probably half the hispanic votes away from the communist party. They are banking on hispanics to keep them in power for years to come. But getting back to Kasich, he could be president on day one. He’s that smart.

The last thing we need is one of Gary Condits best buddys on the R ticket.

RE: The last thing we need is one of Gary Condits best buddys on the R ticket.

Have you ever been friends with someone who you later found out was not what you thought he was? I have.

Being friends with Condit should not be held against Kasich.

BTW, I used to think that John Roberts was a solid pick for SCOTUS Justice like Alito was. I worked hard to tell my liberal Senator NOT to vote against him.

He betrayed me and many conservatives by legislating from the bench (redefining what was clearly stated as a penalty into a tax). Don’t hold it against me. I misjudged his character.

Should we hold it against Reagan for appointing Sandra day O’Connor (Miss Affirmative Action herself) to the SCOTUS?

West would also be good, but he would overshadow Romney. He damn sure tells you what’s on his mind and doesn’t back down from anyone. Sort of reminds me of the male version of
Sarah Palin, who IMO should be on top of the ticket, not Romney. She could win. Never believe polls that say she’s disliked and couldn’t win. Democrats hate her because she’s good looking and the common folk love her. Plus she’s conservative to the bone. I think she’s the Ronald Reagan of the 21st Century. Wouldn’t it be great to see the RINOs kissing her butt if she got the nomination?
