I have interviewed some of the most successful Jews in the world, people who emerged from the Holocaust or started out with nothing and who today are on Forbes’ list of billionaires. There is an underlying theme to their success stories: They got out of bed, worked hard and pulled themselves up by their own bootstraps. Even Mayor Bloomberg recounted to me how in his youth he made money by parking cars and told me the trick to his success was merely getting up earlier and working harder than the next guy. Mark Cuban told me he started out selling garbage bags door to door. The Jews, the most persecuted people in history know one thing from their pan-generational sufferings: God helps those who help themselves.
If Barack Obama really cared for the black community more than he cares for himself he wouldn’t point to the rich to invoke class envy – he’d be pointing to them and say, “OK, let’s learn from their success and then do as they do.” Instead of demanding that the wealthy pay their fair share, he would demand that welfare recipients pull their own weight.
It’s amazing how President Obama is able to raise millions (potentially a billion) for his own campaign to secure his own job and yet he can’t raise one dime for this country or for black America, where the unemployment rate is at 14.4 percent. Back in 2008 he offered and glamorized hope and then in a treacherous bait-and-switch delivered food stamps instead. Is that pocket change you can believe in?

That's "acting white." Forget it.
Obama’s in an unprecedented position to go to the black community and give them hell for the current state of their culture.
But he won’t do it.

As insulting as that notion may be, that's what the Democrats keep telling them they are. Sort of on the same level as pets, I suppose, because that what they are willing to settle for.
No wonder they hate black people like Herman Cain.
Didn’t you get the memo? It is the white folk who are holding them back.
They already are.
Any person that has an abiding respect for God, education, work, family and community is not going to end up shoveling manure.
Valuing education and intact families would be a teriffic start.
The thing is, there are plenty of blacks who are already doing fine, working, living a nice middle classed life, or greater. You just don’t hear about them, or they prefer not to be heard.
I somtimes blame these folks all the more for not speaking up. For not pointing to themselves as an example — instead they stay quiet, or continue to pull for the Democrats while living higher then the rest.
People prefer “it’s not your fault” to “be responsible”.
It’s just how evil works.

Great point and I agree. I once worked with a black physician (I’d love to call him successful, but his skills were a bit on the lacking side) in Muskegon, MI who loved to rail about the lack of opportunities for blacks and essentially how it was the white people’s fault.
I asked him what he was doing to give a hand up to his people and where did he volunteer his time or money.
He stared at me like I had 3 eyes and then changed his ranting to how deplorable the living and educational conditions were in Muskegon Heights due to the white folk holding back the po black folk.
I asked him where in the Heights did he live and what schools did his children attend...”I don’t live in the Heights...I live in Mona Shores on Lake Front property and my children attend private schools”
He would corner me every other week to have these types of
conversations. It was fun to point out his hypocrisy and his lack of concern for his fellow blacks. Of course, he never saw it, but I entertained myself during each conversation.
How so?
I think you're right. Dems treat blacks as if they're not only inferior - but like they can't 'do' better. Much of life really is getting up, going to work, trying harder. Dems have created a situation where if blacks are told the truth - it really IS about the choices you make in life - that the person telling that truth is a racist.
Dems benefit from blacks being thin-skinned, angry, and dependent - they have every intention of keeping them that way.
Other ethnic groups come from countries so poor they can hardly eat - and in three generations they're full fledged Americans. Blacks are at the bottom because ideas and excuses liberal elites have given them don't work. (elite liberals do NOT give the same 'ideas' of victim-hood and grievance to their own children - liberal children are told to study hard, compete fairly etc... )
I used to go to Africa frequently and the lecture I would give the people was threefold: 1) The west achieved its greatness from Christianity .... and not islam and 2) America had Germans in its development. When they hit a problem, the figured it out and built their way through it and 3) none of this is possible without peace and stability. Picking up guns solves nothing excepting perpetuating tribal grievances.
To solve their problems, they would have to find the Christian-German in them! Better yet, try to emulate the most successful people on the planet.... the jooooo. That means outlook, work ethic, morals .... total perspective.

As a racial group, Hispanics aren’t far ahead of them.
It's easier to achieve step #3 if you do steps #1 and #2 first.
