“If you had a converted pedophile in your church, who had only backslid a few times, and you were the pastor, would you allow him to work with your youth group?”

NOPE. Never. He can work and fellowship with adults for the rest of his life, if it is my call.

Again, I support your right to vote for whoever. I am just asking, are politicians ever allowed to change their minds? You answered that, of course, you find his changes of heart unreliable at best.

Obama will reliably do all in his power to push abortion. I don’t think Romney will. I think he will actually support some basic, broad protections of innocent life. His opposition to Obamacare, which he must do or face total defeat in four years, will help a lot in this regard.

Obama will reliably do all in his power to push the homo agenda. I think Romney will support the agenda in a lower-key way, perhaps slow the train down, so to speak. For example I don’t think he’d be pushing test cases to the Supreme Court like Obama is doing right now. (Although that might just foil the whole agenda, ultimately).

I could be wrong on both counts. I am making my best best, and the cards I am holding aren’t very good.

No one told us it would be easy, Persevero. You seem like a good, honest person.

Hope all goes well with you and yours.

I would encourage you to hold Romney’s feet to the fire and not be a “go along with anything because we got no choice but to buckle under” kind of supporter.
