Key omission: through bootlegging and insider trading That was your omission. I already mentioned in the reply you excerpted above that Joe Sr. was not a "honest or scrupulous" businessman. But you decided to excerpt my reply (like CBS) to make it seem like I said something else.

It appears the only Kennedy worth a darn was Joe Jr, who died training for a virtual suicide mission in WWII.
I guess JFK Jr was OK but he also had that lust for risk taking and living on the edge that killed so many of his family.
