Sources told CBS’s Sean Hennessey that Kennedy was slumped over the wheel and had told police she had taken the sleep aid Ambien.

However, one retired police officer said that’s no excuse.

“If she’s taken prescription drugs, it’s probably telling her she shouldn’t be driving,” Jim Caravello said. “Most prescriptions that are narcotic are going to tell you you shouldn’t be on the road driving.”

Is that all they’ve got? Repeating the same story over and over?

Forgive me for being a tad judgemental, but that family is really messed up, and it bleeds onto their spouses.
