Blacks no longer have the political influence they once had, and most blacks would not change their vote to Republican anyway.

So why not go for the thumb in the eye of the NAACP, Shore up the base, and get the foreign policy cred and nominate Allen West?

I think Allen West would be a great choice, objectively speaking. He’s just as assertive as Christie, and even more accomplished.

Romney would also shore up any reluctant conservatives.
