It sounded like you had a point to make or a follow up on something you read about. Such crap would not get far here, believe me. Not a small smattering of veterans here, including a liberal senator with a MOH last I heard.

In Honolulu, I would still see a "Pearl Harbor Survivor" license plate infrequently. There is a reverence for that stuff here that escapes the mainland fixation on the liberal idiocy that does exist. Gets my back stiff when I run into it, no offense intended.
