Bentley said that Romney’s refusal to release more returns has created a “distraction” that Democrats were successfully exploiting. “I just believe in total transparency,” Bentley told ABC News at the National Governors Association conference. “In fact, I was asked today that question — do you think that Governor Romney should release his tax returns? And I said I do. I said, I release my tax returns. I may be the only public official in Alabama that does, but I release mine every year and I just believe that people should release their tax returns. And if you get them out and just get past that, it just makes it so much easier.” Bentley, who took office in 2001, warned that failure to do so would continue to open the door for the Obama campaign and their Democratic allies to “cause distractions away from the real issue in this campaign and that’s the economy.”

This is where Romney says, I’ll release them all if the Kenyan releases his ORIGINAL birth certificate and all passports, all of his college transcripts and applications and all of the Social Security Account Numbers that Barry has used over his lifetime. If he won’t release that stuff, the ‘RATS can stuff it.

I am just amused that Romney gets what he deserves. Since Romney plans to cheat the people and reach across the aisle and impose socialism on us, it is only fair that someone in the party gives him the same treatment.

I’m not sure what anyone thinks is in Romney’s tax returns, on either side of the political spectrum. He ran for president in the last cycle and has had four years to prepare for the scruitiny of the campaign cycle with it’s hostile media. If there were something wrong, it would have been corrected by now in the squeakiest, cleanest manner and doublechecked by the best accountants and lawyers money can buy.
Personally, I don’t think it matters how much information the Romney campaign provides, the Obama campaign and his willing accomplices in the media will never say it is enough. They don’t want the truth, they don’t want transparency, they want Romney destroyed.

You’re right. Nobody cares about anything. That’s why his approval stays in the mid-40s despite being the worst ever. The worst imaginable news against him would not cause his support to drop below 40%. There is never any outcry from the sheep over anything anymore. There’s more outcry over DirecTV customers losing their Viacom channels than over the Obamacare ruling, Fast & Furious, or any of his many power grabs this summer. I’m pretty sure we’re finished as a productive nation/society.
