So what if Bain outsourced jobs?

Why would a manager outsource a job? Because it is more cost effective to do so.

To whom is a manager obligated? He is obligated to his shareholders/owners.

What is his obligation? To maximize the value of their equity in the company.

If Bain outsourced jobs, what caused them to do it? They did it because the environment in the U.S. (punitive taxes, extremely costly regulations, Gov't intrusiveness) made it cost prohibitive to have the jobs here.

It is a stupid argument, if the focus is on the businessman's attempt to do the very thing he is in business to do!

Jobs are not outsourced.

The uncompetitive are dropped from unemployment rolls because the summation of capital and labor can not operate at a profitable level.

At some point, it is simply not possible to be employed in America and make paint brushes. Paint brushes can be made cheaper and most likely better elsewhere.
