Ron Paul is pro-homo as well.
He voted for homosexuals to openly serve in the military.
He’s also a truther.

In other words, someone not cut out to be near the office of leadership anywhere.
He is NOT a conservative by any means.

Joe Scarborough wrote an editorial for Politico entitled, "Why I Voted for Ron Paul". That cleared up a bunch of stuff.

PS: You're on FIRE today!

I don’t know why everyone thinks Ron Paul is so great. After hearing him speak a few times, he sounds like he has a screw loose. Um, make that a few screws loose.

You are being way too nice, RP sounds like the proverbial crazy uncle in the attic. Good grief, how does anyone come to believe he's got the potential to be president?

Before I state my position I'm going to have to define a term. That term is "henotheism." Henotheism is the belief that each country/culture/people has its own ancestral "gxd" apart from any objective, universal G-d. Most "palaeocons" are henotheists and henotheists are anti-Israel and anti-Jewish.

If you go to the web page referenced by the article you will find a very strange statement: that "gxd" is the "gxd" of the United States of America and the United States of America is the country of "gxd." This is nothing but simon-pure henotheism; to the author the United States of America is Israel. Hmm. Maybe the original thirteen colonies were the Tribes? [/sarcasm]

There are many forms of henotheism, some subtler than others. Often the henotheist will claim that whatever country he is promoting is the "true Israel" (as opposed to the ee-vil Jews, of course). "Identity" is merely one form of palaeocon henotheism. Civilizationism is another. I've noticed that their anti-Semitic screeds never seem to attack "the Jews" for subverting objective, universal morality but always for subverting local custom--ie, it isn't that homosexuality is objectively forbidden to the entire human race, but is "un-American" (or contrary to "Western Civilization" or whatever).

It is no wonder this poster and the web site he referenced (his own, perhaps?) supports Ron Paul. Paul is the JBS/Liberty Lobby/Institute for Historical Review candidate.

Jboot mentioned Primitive Baptists. While I would like to think of Primitive Baptists as being relatively non-political (other than their moral beliefs) it is a strange fact that former John Birch Society celebrity Alan Stang (who was Jewish) actually converted to the Primitive Baptist church. Interestingly, the Primitive Baptists do not regard Israel as having any significance whatsoever.

Anyway, so far as this particular Paul-tard, mystery solved.

So the atrocious, grating CapnKirk is gone too? Cool. Maybe one day all the Jew-haters will be gone from this site.

Simply because we can fight Romney more effectively, he can’t play the race card on us!

Where did God tell us to vote for Christians?

In 1Cor 6 he tells us not to even participate in the secular legal system, so how can this theory work?

It makes no sense to elect someone you have to fight to get them to do what they swear to do when they enter office. Effectively you are saying republicans should elect someone who doesn’t share their values and will have to be forced. And how do you make sure you get enough non participating citizens to become active and do that? We can’t even counter anything Obama has done, let alone the current crop of RINOS in office. Experience does not support your argument.

What a messed up country we live in, if you believe this is the only path for America.

I oppose global communism.

The globalists who run both parties like Obama because he will take us there in a hurry.

They like Romney just a little bit less, because he isn’t as overt as Obama, but he’ll get us to the globalist goal just the same, so they will tolerate his election.

This is why the republican elite are pushing such a terrible candidate as Romney. It isn’t about freedom or the Constitution to them, its just putting up someone who will have a hard time beating Obama- why do you suppose they are so close in the polls— so they can scare decent people into voting for Romney who are otherwise conservatives. Either way they achieve their goal.

I don’t believe that fear should be a platform for electing a candidate. You have to vote FOR something, not against— that’s just a little too soviet for my taste.

“This is why the republican elite are pushing such a terrible candidate as Romney.

Good argument for the primaries, but that is over. Just know that whoever you vote for, Paul, Virgil, Gary, you’ve helped Obama. If you can take an honest look at who Obama is, what his past is, what his intentions for our future are, and still believe he is just a flip side of the coin to Romney, vote however you want. I hope it helps you get the America you want, but my mind tells it that isn’t going to happen. I’ll take my chances with Romney and Republican majorities. It’s not going to be what I hoped for, but I’m ugly enough without cutting off my nose to spite my face.

Again the fear mongering.

Its a shame that its the only platform Romney has to stand on.

And by the way. The nomination process isn’t complete until the convention, so it isn’t really over yet.

By capitulating while there is still a hope for a true American to be nominated, just gives more power to Obama.

In this case there is a lot of fear to monger, and someone should do it. Another four years of Obama will be a very terrible and fearful thing. To get more in the way of support for Romney, you will have to go to someone who actually supports him for being Romney. Good luck with supporting someone else. Like I said...

No. Fear mongering is not the answer. People will just laugh and call you a conspiracy theorist.

I don’t care. If you listen to the anti Romney crowd, and their saying Romney will be as bad or worse than Obama, it is nothing but fear mongering, so this is a matter of the pot calling the kettle black. Anyone who isn’t a little fearful of another four years of Obama lacks good sense. ...Of course I could say something like Romney will be better for the economy, jobs, and taxes, but it wouldn’t take much digging in my own Romney folder to come up with a good argument against that, even though it seems obvious that he will be better than Obama. I can take every Romney negative, and conclude that he will be better than Obama. I could do the altruistic thing, and vote for one of the other contenders who come closer to representing my principles, but it would be a wasted vote, helping Obama, contrary to the nonsense that supporting Romney is helping Obama. It is helping Obama lose, and that is my objective. If Obama wins another four years, my principles, politically speaking, will be irrelevant. I might at times bring up obvious points, to all but the extremely block headed, about how Romney it will be much better having Romney working with a conservative/Republican Congress, House and Senate, than it would be having Obama in there. But the anti Romney people aren’t going to care, even if they know it is true. He isn’t Sarah or Herman, and he certainly isn’t Ron Paul. Obama is a huge mistake for America. I can’t stand McCain. I like him less every time I hear him. He is disgusting and nauseating, but Obama is far worse, and I ended up voting for McCain. I guess I can vote for Romney. It would be a much bigger affront to my principles, pride, ego, spiritual beliefs, cultural beliefs, my pro life beliefs, my anti gay agenda beliefs, my pro Second Amendment position, my anti big government position, my anti big tax, illegal immigration, and my pro energy positions to have Obama serve another four years. That’s a fact. If you want pro Romney apologetics, read Ann Coulter. I’m not that into the man, but I am that against Obama, and I don’t mind fear mongering when it comes to him.
