No, it was George’s Paypal account. He had about $135,000 in it, I think, at the time this was going on. The reason George’s wife, Shellie, has been charged with perjury is that she told the judge that they had no assets that they could liquidate and no other means to pay for George’s defense, but they have her and George recorded talking about the money in the Paypal account (talking in code). But clearly, the Zimmerman’s did have access to this money. The point is that George’s lawyer KNEW the account existed, and he KNEW that there was at least $37,000 in the account prior to the first bond hearing, because George told him that he had tried to transfer $37,000 out but was prevented from doing so since it was more than $10,000. Any lawyer would have asked “well, how much is in the account in total?” - especially before a bond hearing when his client’s credibility and his client’s financial means are central issues.
