But it is not likely to happen. The framers of the Constitution wisely provided that only one born in America, to American parents, could be President, believing that if one was born here, he would be raised here. Whether or not Obama was born in America, he spent his most formative years--his years of first awareness to social institutions & the mores of a people, in Indonesia. That is the simple reality. He simply does not have that data bank of impressions, many not ever verbalized, that the typical American grows up with.

It is only because we have allowed so many crack=pated fantasy seekers to spread a ridiculous guilt complex in American schools, that such a man could ever have been elected. (And see The Accidental American.) We need to all work very hard to see that terrible mistake does not happen again.

I repeat. Sununu is doing an EXCELLENT job with the media. If he's a closet Lib who cares. What counts is what he is doing now and he is, without a doubt, helping the cause.
