Pop quiz: does a store that wants to raise revenue
a) hike their prices and drive away its customers or
b) lower their prices by holding a sale and get higher revenue through increased sales volume?

Why can't we use that analogy to educate the public?

gotta be careful with that one - I’ve known a lot of people who think that you can make up a negative margin through volume...it is fun to watch the dimmer switch move around the dial though as the process of comprehension works through the dark alleyways.
