MSNBC's Chris Matthews got another thrill up his leg for Barack Obama Tuesday.
Without any regard for how pathetic it's become for him to regularly gush and fawn over the current White House resident like a school girl around a rock star, the Hardball host said of his beloved, "He’s the perfect father, the perfect husband, the perfect American"
CHRIS MATTHEWS: Based upon the rhetoric, you’d think the president was a radical lefty and not the center-left politician he actually is based on the record, but then do people care on the right about reality? Keith Ellison’s a Democratic Congressman from Minnesota. Eugene Robinson is a columnist from the Washington Post. He’s also of course an MSNBC political analyst.
Yeah, who best to discuss if people on the right care about reality than two liberal shills? But I digress:
MATTHEWS: Congressman Ellison, you’ve been victim yourself of some of this crapola, but this crazy yahoo talk, do you think the people who push this stuff, this malarkey over and over again the guy’s somehow, this guy’s done everything right. He’s raised his family right. He’s fought his way all the way to the top of the Harvard Law Review, in a blind test becomes head of the Review, the top editor there.
Actually, Obama wasn’t editor of the Harvard Law Review. He was the president. Apparently in the midst of the thrill going up his leg, Matthews forgot that. But I once again digress:

Hard to believe it wasn’t that many years ago Matthews had a pretty good show.....yeah he spit on people and constanly interrupted his guests.... But at least he pretended to be reasonable balanced.....And most importantly he had a good spectrum of guests from both sides....,of any issue ...
Today, he is like a propagandist from the soviet union....basically a tool for the left....
He’s unwatchable even for a few minutes....

Actually I think Beckel is playing a part on “The Five” as the left wing loon...to make it interesting and to have an opposing view...after all how much audience attention can you keep with the “leg chair shot”
I have heard Beckel in other venues and he is not completely a moon bat.
Matthews on the other hand I do think is actually mentally ill.... He is diabetic and I think is brain is rotting....

My feelings about Beckel also. I don’t think he believes half the stuff he says. He’s not timid about voicing some agreement with the others occasionally. Unlike Juan Williams who goes to all lengths to defend the indefensible.
Beckel was off base yesterday when he criticized the other participants for saying that obozo was saying “only government can make a person successful” (paraphrased). He disagreed that that was what he said and meant.
He then immediately went on to name the things the government has done that ALLOW a person to have a business etc.
Unfortunately when they all talk over one another, no one gets to point out the absurdity of his statements.
Right. And Lawrence O’Donnell.
I recall Chris subbing for Rush on the EIB Network. Golden Microphone. Did it more than once. Chris used to be funny on Hardball. No more.
