North Korea's Kim Takes on Marshal's Rank
By EVAN RAMSTAD
North Korean leader Kim Jong Eun added a new military rankmarshalto his list of other titles, the North's state media announced Wednesday, capping a shake-up in the highest ranks of the North's military that included the ouster of a general who was considered to be close to Mr. Kim.
The new rank places Mr. Kim above six military leaders who hold the rank of vice marshal, including one who was promoted on Tuesday and was viewed as a possible successor of the military chief who was relieved of his duties by North Korea's politburo on Sunday.
The new title also gives Mr. Kim, who is believed to be in his late 20s, the same ranking that his father, Kim Jong Il, held during his 17 years as North Korea's leader. Kim Jong Il was promoted to marshal in 1992, two years before he took control of the country after his father's death. In February, two months after his own death, North Korea gave him the rank of grand marshal.

Kim Il-sung is still Eternal President of the Republic.
The guy they just promoted to vice marshal had no prior military experience. Think the other military generals might chafe at that
other than the title he got earlier this year i mean
P!
Bump
So the new guy will have to depend on Marshall Kim, because he has no other friends.
They’ll accept or take a trip to the countryside.
___Think the other military generals might chafe at that-——
No, of course not
Prior to promoting himself, Kim Ewwwn provided a series of medals and medallions as awards for outstanding valorous service during the transitional campaign. He recognized the underlings for their brilliant handling of the precarious moments when uncertainty prevailed.
He recognized them for the strength and vociferous press releases and saber rattling that caused the world to cringe at their might. The splendeferious beribboned medallions for the top echelon are coveted highly by the underling officers who are spurred on to try to achieve what their superiors have accomplished.
All things considered the process was great for all
