John McCain defends Huma Abedin against Michele Bachmann
Yahoo ^

Posted on 07/18/2012 12:04:54 PM PDT by Windy City Conservative

Alas, no. McCain was defending Abedin against recent accusations made by Rep. Michele Bachmann that Abedin's security clearance should be questioned due to alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. "I understand how painful and injurious it is when a person's character, reputation, and patriotism are attacked without concern for fact or fairness," McCain said according to prepared remarks. "It is for that reason that I rise today to speak in defense of Huma Abedin."

I notice that, in defending her honor, he didn’t bother to actually address the facts of the case. Which is her ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

And since O seems intent on putting the Brotherhood in power all across the Middle East, I would have to ask the same question about him.

And since the Brotherhood is essentially the above-ground wing of Al Qaeda, we seem to have switched sides in the War on Terror. November can’t come soon enough for me.

McLoser-—that Manchurain Candidate SOB.

Has to defend an Islamist, but couldn’t his VP candidate in 2008.

Has to worry about -Abedin, but can’t be bothered to find out why an Arizona Sheriff is saying Obama’s birth certificate is forged.

When the history of this period is written, John McCain will not be remembered well

Wonder if McLame is giving lessons(quietly) to Romney on how to take a “dive” in an election...

He’s good at it... a perfect example was 2008...
Romney seems to be using the “McLame example” as a primer..

And republicans generally are none the wiser..
They refuse to see the ERROR of running the inventor of Romney-care against the inventor of Obama-care..

Can you hear......... the democrats laughing?..

Liberal twit John McCain protects Muslim Brotherhood in American, just as he knowingly advances Muslim Brotherhood and AL QAEDA in the middle east.

Let me be perfectly clean, John McCain is a delusional traitor. His past service to this country is no more relevant than Benedict Arnold's heroism.

Now I notice that John Boehner has joined in attacking Bachmann. So I guess it is a good time to bring up the facts of the case. What ties does Abedin have to the Muslim Brotherhood?

What ties does Abedin have to the Muslim Brotherhood?

Through her mother and her brother.

Now, I think for the State Department that is seen as a feature and not a defect, because they are hoping to engage and moderate the Brotherhood; they see them as the coming force to be reckoned with so her ties and her understanding of them is something they value.

She has similar ties and understanding of the Saudi world, and again through her family she has ties and understanding of the "arab spring" movement which is bringing the Brotherhood to power; obviously that makes her valuable to State and the Clintons.

So, what Michele Bachmann is saying is true. What McCain and Boehner are saying may also be true, she may very well be of "sterling character". Its possible for both to be true. The question is, while she is our bridge to the Brotherhood and the "arab spring" movement, is she also their "agent of influence"? Thats Michele's question. Its not offensive to ask it. In effect Bachmann is questioning where Hillary's (and Obama's) sympathies lie; since we have apparently tilted toward the Brotherhood the last couple of years its again a proper question I think. Is our engagement of the Brotherhood a function of "realpolitik" or sympathy?
