You don’t read well.

The senators are always going to pick the judges, and who will depend on what senator has seniority in the district.

>> “ I am pretty sure Sarah calls herself a conservative not a Republican.” <<

.
You couldn’t be more wrong. Sarah Palin is a loyal Republican.

You know absolutely nothing of the political processes in this country!

The senior senator in the judicial district of the retiring judge has always picked the replacement, and the President accepts that nominee and formally nominates that judge. Then the senate holds confirmation hearings.

That is the way it has always been done.

Sarah scares the crap out of the GOPe ...

My Gawd, if that's not the truth. Buncha girly men if I've ever seen some. Stupid, rotten, fascist, smug, elitist girly men. Shooting themselves in the ... okay... FOOT... anytime they get the chance.

I doubt the lack of an invite upsets her much.

Also true, and yet another reason conservatives respect her.

Interesting so tell me what senior senator wanted Harriet Miers to sit on the Supreme Court?

No, she refused to bow to baal, so no invite.

I’m happy about that - she’s not tainted by the Romney filth! Good has nothing to do w/evil.

Not to worry, your saint Romney would never think of lying or stabbing you in the back - so don’t stay up nights worrying about your saint romney. Just bow to him, that’s all he requires.

He decide to run and came through fire to get your vote and will return to fire with it. Sweet dreams!

You really think that? She is LOYAL to God and NOT to a party. So you couldn't be more wrong. She has her priorities straight - unlike the masses!

Longtime follower, posting for the first time, appreciative of this forum.

Romney NEEDS Palin. Palin inspires conservatives, Romney inspires nobody. Palin respects the Constitution and America, Romney respects only power. Palin worships the one and only GOD, Romney worships himself. I would hope the Republican Party recognizes that WE THE PEOPLE wish to return America to its Christian roots.

That being said, if Romney continues to snub conservatives and if he proves incapable of beating Obama in November, at the very least, I hope it allows us to purge the Republican Party of RINOs once and for all.

I actually see her laughing about it. Sarah draws crowds that want to see and hear her - and they will have NONE of that - Patriotism, Our Constitution, not being for sale, not bowing to baal but standing for good.

Which would be painfully obvious if she were to appear because she would suck all the oxygen out of the room. They want to avoid the comparison ... Sarah vs. Mitt ...

A speech by Sarah would thrill everyone in the hall, and they'd leave saying the same thing they did in 1976 after Reagan's powerful off-the-cuff speech that Ford asked him to give ....

"We nominated the wrong man."

She has stated herself many times that she is a Republican, and has no intention of changing.

Why would you not believe her?

Tell me, have you forgotten the outrage from the Meyers debacle?

You’ve really picked a poor example if you have some obscure point to make.

When the president doesn’t go along with tradition, its always a debacle.

“But alas, one of her children didn’t want her to. Screw America that really, really needed her.”

I feel the same way. Palin had her moment to act on her patriotism and make the sacrifice she’s asking others to make - to be a true leader and set an example, if nothing else. But she bailed. All of her words ring hollow after that.

I wouldn’t say she’s yet another self-aggrandizing conservative TV/radio celebrity making moolah of our collective angst, but she’s drifted in that direction.

We dont need any more speeches and celebrities. We need leaders.

RE :”Hell, why don't they just demand that the GOP give her ALL the delegates and coronate her nominee without her even running? then whine when it doesn't happen?...
.......
Ron Paul has already done that in Minnesota, Maine, Colorado and Louisiana without winning a single primary.

I have been hearing that sorry tail on MSNBC Maddow who loves it.

I don't consider Ron Paul a serious figure at all. He acts much more like another cult figure than anyone who is serious about having responsibility..

So if those who want Palin drama at the convention see her as a cult figure (and I see no one here admitting that that think both) as I see Paul then using Paul as an role model for Palin makes perfect sense to me.
