What is so frustrating is that no one in law enforcement would listen to the man.
It is for that reason that I think those involved with putting him in prison should be the ones that should pay and pay big for restitution.
One previous similar threads I’ve noticed a segment of FReepers with a pathological hatred of the “Innocence Project” (probably because they hate the perceived implications for the death penalty of cases like this) - but the case was an utter trainwreck:

Especially Dillon’s girlfriend! Sleeping with the lead investigator. Good grief. They should both have to pay big time restitution.
