Zimmerman only raised an additional $1,000 to $2,000 ... O’Mara said on Thursday that he may ask the court to declare Zimmerman indigent if they can't raise more money.

Better late than never. If the state of Florida wants a circus, then let the state of Florida pay for it.

Bad answer. ‘Didn’t intend to shoot’? You mean he was aiming for something else? That’s too vague. Leave that part out.

The prosecution will tear this interview apart.

You bet they will. The more he talks, the more ammunition he gives them.

I heard there’s a part two tonight.

I think Crump's partner in crime is on tonite. Part 2 tomorrow nite.

What the hell for?

I think they are trying to get donations up, but I think people want to see him get some backbone and go after Trayvon Martin's tox report, jv record, school records, and cut with the apology stuff. It's a bit much.

His lawyer should be sued by Zimmerman’s family for malpractice.

I think a lot of this is George's idea. And he's a Democrat and Democrat's think that all problems are problems of communication, that if they just heard me tell my story, then they would open up their hearts and purse strings, and believe me and love me. Courts don't work that way. He just may talk himself into a jail cell. He needs to stfu.

HANNITY: I was just curious, prior to this night, this incident, had you even heard stand your ground?

ZIMMERMAN: No, sir.

HANNITY: You have never heard about it before?

ZIMMERMAN: No.

Zimmerman was a Criminal Justice student and had never heard of the Stand Your Ground law?

It’s difficult to imagine that the topic of self-defense and SYG never came up with Mark Ostrander, the air marshal with DHS and former Seminole County Deputy Sheriff, when they were target shooting together.

On page 42 of the Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm Application is a list all of the applicable laws and conditions related to carrying a concealed weapon, including ‘Stand Your Ground’.

And Commissioner Adam Putnam sent a special notice to concealed weapon license holders concerning the ‘Use of Deadly Force for Lawful Self-Defense’.

Hmmmmmmmm

He may have known it under a different name.

Until this incident I never heard of it.

And the words "stand your ground" do not appear in the statute.

He does have ADD you know. I'm sure he isn't the most avid reader.

It's always been called "Stand Your Ground" here in Florida, but you are correct. The exact wording in the statute is:

A person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force...

Florida Statute 776.013 (3)

That good looking Kimberly Guilfoyle, who used to be a prosecutor, just said on Hannity that she thinks the interview went well for Zimmerman. Maybe she seen something I didn’t see.

So then, you really have to search to find it in the statute and when you do find it, it’s not even there. The actual phrase is: “...right to stand his or her ground...”.

You need to get a clue, it’s 2012 and for someone who has been unfairly treated in the media to not do some PR in the media to fight back is crazy. If he were lying or guilty then I say STFU but as far as I’m concerned and as far as his poly is concerned and the physical evidence along with witness statements, he’s telling the truth. I’m not saying he should do more interviews but one or two is fine..it’s needed.
Now the attorney needs to attack from behind the scenes as well with leaks to the media about Martin. Dig up whatever he can find.

However will the media even print stories that go against Martin’s character?

Go away already.
My gawd.

He was taking CLASSES at a local community college, he wasn’t in law school, you twit.
And most people probably couldn’t tell you MOST of the laws of their state because there are so many.
And if he did know of the law you think he sat in his truck thinking “Hey i’ll follow this guy and if he turns on me i can use the STAND YOUR GROUND defense?”

Why would GZ lie about knowing a law that doesnt even apply to his case anyway? It’s a straight up self defense case.

I truly don’t get the hero worship .... what exactly has this person done that is to be so proud of?

Why is he so special that he should be treated different than anyone else that has been charged with a heinous crime? It’s not like he has been charged and falsely convicted and needing help to raise funds for an appeal .... he hasn’t even been to court to prove his innocence at all yet!

Yes, I know that the standard is “innocent until proven guilty” and I believe in that standard .... the difference is that when you are claiming a “self-defense” defense .... well then it DOES become your job to PROVE that you killed someone and it was legally defensible .... he hasn’t done that yet.

I am really trying to understand what is it about HIM.... I mean George Zimmerman specifically .... what is it about HIM .... that creates in the supporters the kind of almost hero worship I keep seeing here.

What has he DONE or SAID to earn that .... certainly it can’t be that you agree with Mark O’Mara when he asks .... if you would have done the same thing George Zimmerman did please donate .... I refuse to believe that is what it is .... I know that the people here aren’t like that. There is no denying that George shouldn’t have got out of that truck and followed the kid .... if he had stayed in that truck and waited for the police .... like he was trained to do .... none of this would have happened!

He needs to find an attorney who will do that. Mark O'Mara won't.

However will the media even print stories that go against Martin’s character?

His attorney should file contempt of court charges against the prosecution for not releasing the toxicology report, the official phone company log of Trayvon Martin's calls, and DeeDee's calls, and Tracy Martin's calls instead of the cut and paste fraudulent one that they have offered.

And he needs to then hold a press conference to demand them. Why is he not doing that??? Is it because the prosecution if holding tape #30 over his head???

Ah there you go --- same song same verse a little bit louder a little bit worse. But you forget the other verses of that "If Only" song:

If only Trayvon Martin had stayed in school,

If only Trayvon Martin had not punched the bus driver,

If only Martin had not painted graffiti on school lockers,

If only Martin had not brought marijuana to school,

If only his father had not been a CRIP,

If only his mother had been more of a mother to him,

If only his father had not left Alicia and started up with Brandi,

If only he had not been left alone in Sanford that weekend,

If only he had not gone to 7-Eleven,

If only he had gone straight home instead of casing other domiciles,

If only he had not put up his hoodie and run when he saw the white guy on the phone with the police,

If only he had not been acting suspicious,

If only he had not come back to confront the white guy,

If only he had not punched the white guy,

If only he had stopped punching the white guy who was crying out for help,

If only he had left the white guy there bloody and bruised and run instead of trying to finish the job,

If only .....

You see, BB, there are a whole lot of more verses to that "If Only" song that you be singin'.

HANNITY: And the police said they heard at one point 14 screams, you were screaming that loud?

ZIMMERMAN: Yes, sir.

HANNITY: And you said to the police at one point that he put his hand over your mouth. Do you think that was to silence you from screaming?

ZIMMERMAN: Yes, sir. I believe he — from what the investigators told me, he knew that I was talking to the police. And I was yelling so that — I believed that the police officer was there and they just couldn’t hear me. So, I was yelling in the hopes that they were in the vicinity and they would come when they heard me yelling.

Whoa!!! How did the investigators know that Trayvon Martin knew that he had been on the phone with the police??? from Tracy Martin??? from DeeDee's phone??? from Zimmerman's description of his behavior on the NEN call after which he ran [cripwalked] away??? and/or from experience with the criminal mindset that seeks to intimidate and eliminate all witnesses and tattletalers who can or might identify them???

We have the reason for Trayvon's assault on Zimmerman that night right here -- and the investigators knew it, especially when told that the assault started as he was reaching into his pocket for his cellphone.

This needs to be highlighted, and all phone records of the Martin side of the family subpoenaed by the state and then made public.

Where are they, Corey??? Where are they, Crump???

Git on it, O'Mara

Now try to concentrate and answer the question, if you can without injecting snide remarks, which was about George Zimmerman.

Should I surmise from your "if only" rant, that is full of speculation, that it is solely a black vs. white/hispanic issue for you? Are you a racist?

I truly don’t get ...

I think you get it.

It’s not like he has been charged and falsely convicted

Who are you kidding???You had him convicted from day one.

I know that the standard is “innocent until proven guilty” and I believe in that standard

Oh yeh -- right. You expect us to believe that???

well then it DOES become your job to PROVE that you killed someone and it was legally defensible .... he hasn’t done that yet.

He has in the court of public opinion that has seen all the evidence there is to see.

I am really trying to understand

You need to try harder

the supporters the kind of almost hero worship

kind of like the sainthood tour of Trayvon Martin. If he is your kind of hero, then no wonder you don't understand.

Should I surmise from your "if only" rant, that is full of speculation, that it is solely a black vs. white/hispanic issue for you?

Why would that be??? Because I used the term that DeeDee did in her deposition that came right from the mouth of your hero??? or should I have used the term "cracka". Is that better???

Are you a racist?

Is that another one of your baseless accusations that your side is so skilled at victimizing others with??? Take a rest, Natalie.
