Of course, all but 2 or 3 of them already have an acceptable ID because they need ID for just about everything from buying booze to getting on an airplane.
Seems they had whatever id they needed to get their handouts, and probably didn’t mind how far the office was to sign up. Why is it such a big deal to do the same to vote if it’s that important that their vote counts.
I forgot, to get my ID, I had to show my birth certificate.
No problem. I have had one in my possession for the last 40 years or so.

The Brennan Justice has always been rabidly anti-voter ID. If you go to their site you will find paper after paper against voter ID or any other attempt to fight vote fraud. When working on the petition drive to get a Voter ID inititive on the ballot I read many of these,( Brennan Justice Center is located at NYU )one of these I thought made my case FOR Voter ID, the last line of the paper said”Voter ID only makes a difference in the close elections anyway”
Total Garbage....BS ...bet they have ID when buying smokes and booze! Oh gotta have an ID to vote, yet none of them complained when ID was required for entry to NAACP.
Trust me if anyone was walking to their polling place because they didn't have a car or bus service or a friend to take them, the New York Times would run their story on page one... Maybe like the idiot the AP covered who flew to Washington DC to tell her tale of woe - about how she was unable to get to a place that could give her a photo ID ... Only a member of the press would fall for the crap - given that she found her way FROM TEXAS to DC without a problem... But who knows, the New York Times is hungry for something - anything - to back up this liberal fantasy... maybe the girl can fly back to DC and try one more time.
Oh, please!
Promise freebies with a photo ID. Doesn’t matter what the freebies are. These same “poor, disenfranchised” folks will show up with IDs and shopping carts!
You want to get the libs stuttering and stammering about ID needed to vote because voting is a right - I love to use it, and do regularly.
I tell them I agree it is a right and I will be more than happy to support their cause of no ID for voting because it is a right as soon as they sign on with me that no ID needs be shown to purchase a firearm, because that is also a right.............
Stick with rights - if they want to stick with rights.
Well I guess none of these poor souls will ever be able to attend an 0bama fundraiser.
Probably a bunch of crap. When the State Attorney General argued the Voter ID case in Federal Court, he showed the statistics provided by Eric the Corrupt were fictitious and should have caused Eric to be held in contempt of court. The State Attorney General had students from UT actually call the people submitted on the list by Eric that were supposed to have not photo ID. They found less than 10% of the people claimed they did not have photo Id. Included on Eric’s list of people not having photo Id were G W Bush, Mickey Mouse, etc. The list was fraudulent from the get go. The photo Id requirement will prevail, but Eric is doing his drag-it-through-the-courts game, even though he will lose at the Supreme Court.
Didn't think so.
The Brennan Center for Justice was founded in 1995 by the family and former law clerks of Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan.[2] Justice Brennans idea of a living constitution figures largely into the centers work
The organization is currently headed by Michael Waldman, former Director of Speechwriting for President Bill Clinton from 19951999.
Do they need IDs to get welfare, go to the emergency room, get Medicare or Social Security?
Given the UNION MONEY and free labor that the Democrats get (for you Ford buyer, the UAW gets election day off, so they can get out the vote, for Democrats) - I have ZERO DOUBT that if 500,000 people need a ride to get an ID, the Dems will get those 500,000 IDs. It is not at all a big effort and costs next to nothing, compared to their advertising budget.
What the Dems REALLY FEAR here is that once these people show up at DMV, they won’t have a paper-trail to prove who they are...and if that’s the case, they’re essentially non-citizens (i.e., non-players), even if they are here legally.
Anybody who can’t show an ID to vote should not only be turned away, but if they leave and hop into a car, should be arrested on the spot for driving without a license.
In states that have had Voter ID for multiple election cycles, it has been shown that there is ZERO impact on turnout.
