At times I regret getting out after 4 years back in the early 90s but staying really wasn’t practical for many reasons but seeing stuff like this makes me glad I didn’t hang around.

DOD won't ever go back to those standards. They'll just further relax those for entry. Homos in the military are there to stay.

The military could not have timed this better. They are getting rid of people right now. They do not need any retention numbers because they already have too many people not only in the military but loads ready to reenlist at the first call. Seriously this is a disaster because they will never blame DADT on poor retention because by the time there is poor retention (when the economy recovers in 20 years) they won’t blame it on DADT because it will be long forgotten. We are in poor shape in this country for many reasons. One is our lack of morals as a whole.
Then conscription will come back. The elitists will be able to buy or influence their way out. You will then have many soldiers who don't want to be there, aren't treated well, and morale and discipline will plummet. Sounds like the Russian Army, doesn't it? Different paths, same result.

Not gonna happen. The politicians have identified the path to career success in the military as being pro-homosexual. The brass will throw themselves at it will full vigor.
One thing I learned working with the military is never get between the nose of a careerist and the butt of their commander. And if you ever wonder if most military officers would give the order to fire on American civilians, keep that in mind.

Why is that? Is this because leftist have inflirated the ranks of our politicians and leaving them as covert agents of the left pretending to be republicans yet unwilling to seriously push the conservative agenda while also being unwilling to undo the damage their leftist democrats have done?
I honestly care less and less for Washington every day. I just want my freedom, and I no longer see them as anything but a growing threat to that end.

No, it won't; because the multiple negative effects that are surfacing NOW aren't being allowed to see the light of day.
