And most of those labels can be had for less elsewhere, as I said before. As you say, why would one pay more for the exact same thing?
Show me any name-brand item at JCP and I can show you the exact same thing available online or at another brick and mortar store for less.

I’m not aware of some clothing labels being available elsewhere except the higher-end stores.
As for Outlet Malls, (I know - you didn’t mention) there’s one nearby, but as we know, the original ‘outlet’ concept went out with high-button shoes.
One GENerally does not find the exact same retail item at the outlet - outlet items are manufactured/made, for the outlets!
