Speaker of the House John Boehner has become the latest high-profile Republican to denounce Michele Bachmann's "pretty dangerous" accusations that Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton's deputy chief of staff and Anthony Weiner's wife, has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. "From everything that I do know of [Abedin], she has a sterling character and I think accusations like this being thrown around are pretty dangerous," Boehner told reporters during his briefing today. (There's that word again, hmmm ... sterling) As Senator John McCain did yesterday, Boehner is doing his part in taking down accusations put forth by Rep. Michele Bachmann and other conservative congresspersons which allege that Abedin, among others working in the U.S. government, have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Bachmann and Rep. Trent Franks (R-Arizona), Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), Thomas Rooney (R-Fla.) and Lynn Westmoreland (R-Ga.) put those accusations in letters which were sent to five federal agencies, reports The Huffington Post's Amanda Terkel and Jennifer Bendery.

BTW, even Bachmann's slimy campaign manager came out against her. I betcha she's sorry she gave him the job.
MB got exactly what she deserved from Rollins, for hiring the old backstabbing bastard in the first place.
It annoys me that these guys attack Michele without bothering to refute her assertion.
When you are dealing in facts, it should be easy enough to refute her if she's wrong. From my memory, this was all brought out years ago, and yes, the girl's father is in bed with Muslim Brotherhood.
So, she has ties. Has she said or done anything to disavow the Brotherhood?
Boehner = S—thead. Always was, always will be. An incompetent one at that. He and so many other Republicans are near as corrupt as their Dem counterparts. It is so sad what has happened to our country.
I sure hope next year the Republicans elect a new Speaker of the House.
This one sucks big time.
Huma has long thought to have been a Saudi agent.
No balls boehner at it again. F’n baby should retire.
The muslim brotherhood has their tentacles in the GOP nearly as deeply as they do in the democrats.
>Has she said or done anything to disavow the Brotherhood?<
Not as far as I know.
Did you know that Bill Clinton married Huma and Weiner, and that in addition to her mother, her brother is also a member of the Muslim Brotherhood?
Here’s an interesting article: http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/06/the_muslim_brotherhood_and_weiner.html
They’re either all in on the islamization of America or are too stupid to know the difference.
Muslims are fundamentally dangerous, and islamists should be rounded up and preferably killed if they resist.
meanwhile..

Tennessee mosque gets go-ahead after legal fight
A US judge has ruled that a Muslim congregation has the right to occupy their newly built mosque, overturning a lower court order.
But county officials said they could not complete a final inspection to make the building ready for use on Thursday as the month of Ramadan begins.
Wednesday’s ruling was the latest episode in a two-year legal battle over the Rutherford County mosque.
Residents filed a lawsuit against the place of worship in 2010.
The opponents said Islam was not a real religion and claimed Muslims wanted to overthrow the US constitution in favour of Islamic law.
Was Boehner crying when he decried Bachmann’s charge?
I find myself in the strange position of thanking McQuisling, especially. Before he defended Ms. “The Bird is the Word” Huma-mao-mao-poppa-huma-mao-mao, the lamestreams never once reported on the (correct) assertion that she is deeply rooted in the MB, and therefore much to be DIStrusted around the highly sensitive national security info she no doubt has access to on a regular basis.
So, thanks again, McQuisling, for inadvertently baiting the lamestreams into finally broaching the subject. The other nimrods shoulda kept zipped about it, but we’ll just make a note of it. The real ground was plowed by the latest of previously worthwhile conservatives who went Goldwater on us after marrying into the jet set.
Please note Mr. Boehner and Jacka$$ MaLaime, IT is a KNOWN fact that Huma Adedin’s family are members of the Muslim Brotherhood, on her mother’s side.
Once again,Boehner shows us what a RINO,WEASEL he TRULY is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well said, Migraine.
I thought he was still married to Hillary?
The MB started AQ.
Now, it’s morphing into salafism in the ME, too.
“Salafism - a militant group of extremist Sunnis who believe themselves the only correct interpreters of the Koran and consider moderate Muslims to be infidels; seek to convert all Muslims and to insure that its own fundamentalist version of Islam will dominate the world”
Seen hijabs in Cairo lately?
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Salafist
So glad these people have our backs.
Bachmann, et al., should send an open letter to both Boehner and McCain asking them to:
State whether they believe the MB is a friendly and peaceful organization which expresses no hostility nor animosity towards America; and,
Could they cite evidence indicating that this woman is not affiliated with the MB, is not sympathetic to them or their cause, of if they believe that she is affiliated and/or sympathetic to them, as such is not in any way a threat to America or its interests.
Thanks for the link.
This is outright treasonous what they are doing to Michelle Bachman
She was right to call out this woman and her connections
No surprise Hanoi John McCain would side with the terror threat. He was the same one who attacked families and loved ones who were inquiring about their POW/MIAs in Vietnam...disgusting how Hanoi John handled that hearing
Now we know why the North Vietnamese let him go....
Also, let us not forget the people who attacked Bachmann when she called out big-government liberal Rick Perry and his forced STD vaccinations of little girls in Texas. Absolutely disgusting people attacked her for calling out Pervert Perry on that one
Rod Hams eyes are almost as perky as natalies nipples in this picture.
These RINO bastards will say anything in order to keep their Saudi payoff monies coming in. Just my opinion.
“...Boehner, McCain. The HuffPost article lists more...Brown, Rubio...”
All memebers of the GOP elite club. And, yes, every last one must go.
Michele's not perfect, but I would love to see her get that job.
I agree, speaker or GOP chair.
Gotta knock the legs out from under them by taking out the
Republican National Committee which is actually much easier than taking down a RINO directly.
It only takes a few hundred dedicated people going to the state convention and removing them. In Michigan there were only some 1500 people at the party convention and several hundred tea partiers, GOP conservatives, and libertarians removed two RINOs from their national committee chairs.
She hasn’t got a prayer.
I agree she would be better at it than Boehner, but that isn’t a great admission.
She hasn’t got a prayer because the RINO’s won’t vote for her and half of the Republican House is made up of RINO’s.
There aren’t enough Conservative Repuiblicans to elect her.
>There arent enough Conservative Repuiblicans to elect her.<
That’s where we come into play.
Ah, yes....and this is one of the individuals we will be counting on to make sure Romney leans to the right, LOL...
Yes where are all the Rubio lovers who want the ineligible RINO selected for VP? Its always the usual suspects I mean Dhimmis who come out of the wrong gate every time. The names hardly ever change.
Ed Rollins is a slimey little worm who has all of the traits of a dog except loyalty. I was shocked when Michelle Bachman hired him. He took her money and shortly after stabbed her in the back and he’s been pot shotting her ever since.
Who would think Hillary Clinton could get anybody of “sterling” quality to work for her on an ongoing basis?
That’s the problem isn’t it. Refute her concerns with facts. Show that our own politicians are beholden to Saudi Arabian money. Show that America’s foreign policy supports the only democracy in the ME (if you think Iraq is a democracy you’re not paying attention).
There’s been a fervent view that Israel needs to be brought to heel. Liberals are notoriously anti-Semitic. If Abedin is allied with the MB we should know. That she’s Hilary’s paramour isn’t any of our business, though.
Why wasn’t that operation followed up by other ops? Huma is there to guarantee that Hilary stay in place. Look at the policies Obama’s State Department are playing in the ME. Why would Obama appoint Hilary?
This is the Saudi’s doing and the ME is turning into a Wahhabists dream. America will be paying for this folly for generations. There will be war over this.
*Norquist is a Muslim convert with a Palestinian Muslim wife

If there is some sort of perverted relationship between Hilliary and Huma it sure as hell is the american people’s business. Government officials that have been compromised put the country at risk, especially at Hilliary’s level. That is Security 101 and when you get your clearance you are required to vow NOT to put yourself in that position. This means you can’t do drugs, steal or be an adulterer among other things. It isn’t “just about sex.”
There's no specific, credible evidence Huma's long dead (about 20 yrs) father had direct or even indirect ties to Muslim Brotherhood. There's just innuendo. There's even less evidence her mother or other family are connected.
The "source" appears to be a special-interest group.
I remember when Democrats were saying the evidence wasn't as important as the seriousness of the charge and that's what I see going on here. It's a sham and Bachmann's being played.
I see people mocking and attacking Bachmann but I don’t see anyone actually refuting what she says.
Ms Abedin has ties, through her mother and brother. You can argue that this is a good thing for someone in her position, as it gives her insight into a movement that is gaining momentum throughout the Middle East. You could argue that this gives State and Clinton an advantage as she deals with events there, having someone who has a deeper understanding than would the average State Department drone.
You can argue, as Boehner and McCain have done, that she has “sterling character” and I don’t think anyone has suggested otherwise.
And you could argue that she hasn’t said anything publicly that suggests she is in sympathy with the Brotherhood. She hasn’t disavowed them publicly either, but as Clinton’s aide she probably would avoid making any kind of public statement one way or the other. Her job is to assist the Secretary of State, not to take any public position on anything.
But none of this refutes what Bachmann has said. Bachmann’s point is broader than Ms Abedin, its a criticism of our apparent tilt toward the Brotherhood during the “arab spring” revolutions. This “tilt” may simply be “realpolitik” as we recognize and try to deal with the facts on the ground, but the suspicion in dealing with Obama is that he is in sympathy with them.
Your memory is wrong. Her father died in 1993 and therefore has ties to nobody. You should be embarrassed to peddle that kind of nonsense. How many radical Muslims do you honestly think go out and marry Jews?
See #46 for a more complete description of my view.
