BOMB SQUAD ON THE SCENE IN AURORA

A least 20 people were injured early this morning in a shooting and a possible explosion at a movie theater in Colorado, NBC is reporting. The violence occurred at a Century 16 theater in an Aurora mall following a midnight showing of the new Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.
One suspect is in custody, and a police bomb squad is on the scene. Three local hospitals were alerted to prepare for a "mass casualty" incident involving at least 20 injured.
Three victims are reportedly in critical condition. The town has been hit with a spate of violence recently. Two people were shot dead in unrelated incidents over the weekend, according to the Denver Post.
Fox News reporting 10 dead, dozens injured.
Many theaters across the country had midnight showings of the new Batman movie last night.

Given how openly negative towards the OWS movement Nolan’s film is: I already have a good, strong suspicion who the culprit(s) will ultimately turn out to be.

This was two shooters, with body armor, smoke grenades and all... not your spur of the moment thing.
According to FOX...2 shooters stood up the moment Batman appeared (one shooter in each of two theaters)...they had gas masks and protective gear...shot off some kind of gas...people, mostly teens, panicked and shooters just began randomly shooting. Right now 10-12 + deaths....many others in critical condition.
I was thinking an act of terrorism, gang violence, or crazy disaffected youths. Suspect in custody, we should have an idea soon.

Updated: Shooting(s) at the Century Theater near Aurora Towncenter...many listeners reporting a crazy scene with several dozen police on the scene and several possible injuries. If youre out tonight heading that way you’ll definitely want to head in a different direction. Definitely sending our prayers to anyone who may be hurt.

Not sure....reporter on the scene did make a comment about how unusually quickly gang squads were present.
It sounds like there were police on hand, and they disrupted the shooting very quickly. Thank God they were there, otherwise these guys would have killed a lot more.
