No one can say we weren't warned. Twenty-two months ago Jed Babbin profiled ABC's "investigative reporter" Brian Ross, whose "fabulist record" had by then extended to nine years. How many more years will ABC give him before he's retired?

I don’t think there’s any way he keeps his job for much longer after a screwup of this magnitude. If he does, he must have something on someone big at ABC.

If I was Tea Party Jim holmes I would sue ABC and then eventually settle with ABC by asking for Brian Ross resignation and have George Stephonopolus make a sizeable contribution to the his TEA Party.
On another thread, someone commented that Ross has the same name as a person on a sex offender registry. Wonder how Mr. Ross would react if people accused him of being that Brian Ross?

Prediction: Ted Baxter will have Bernie Goldberg on and they will be critical of what Ross said. However, at some point in the interview baxter will trip all over himself insisting on what a stand-up guy Ross is.
O’Reilly already made an ass of himself sucking up to Ross once. He’ll gladly do it again.

Brian Ross should have been fired when he sneaked Uranium into the United States from the Philippines, just to show terrorists how easy it was.
After that, he should have been fired when he showed how easy it was to blow up a train full of dangerous Chemicals at a junction and kill 100,000 people or more.
Brian Ross is a special case of idiot. He doesn't understand that the security problems he is highlighting are NOT FIXABLE! The only possibility of safety was that terrorists might not be aware of them, but thanks to Brian Ross, now they are. He has endangered the public with his stupidity, and ABC should have gotten rid of him long ago. He is a threat to the nation.
