Recall the euphoria that engulfed the African-American community back in 2008, when Barack Obama became the 44th president of the United States. Blacks came out for him in droves and voted for him at an astounding 96% level. Times, they were a-changin', so to speak. It was the dawning of a new era, as a large dose of hope and change was on its way to the county as a whole, and specifically to the African-American community.
Now, almost four years later, it's clear that Obama has done nothing to improve the way of life among blacks as a whole. In fact, statistics show that life has actually regressed for African-Americans under Obama.
As of June, the African-American unemployment rate is a staggering 14.4%, with Latinos and Hispanics having an unemployment rate of about 11.0%, while the unemployment rate for whites is 7.4%. Compare these rates to December 2008, the final month before Barack Obama stepped into the Oval Office. Whites were unemployed at the rate of 6.6% and Hispanics were at a rate of 9.2%, while blacks had an 11.9% rate of unemployment.
Blacks have taken it in the chin to a greater degree than other demographic groups in the labor market during Obama's economic disaster. Essentially, one out of every seven African-Americans is unemployed. Still, there is worse economic news for the African-American community while under the president for whom they cast 96% of their ballots in November 2008.
According to a report released earlier this year by the Bipartisan Policy Center, in 2010, African-American homeownership rates dropped to pre-1990 levels. Blacks owned homes at a rate of 44.3% in 2010, less than two-thirds the rate at which whites owned homes.

The black community has and is continuing to fail the black community.
And yet 98% of them will vote for Zero based on the color of his skin. Remind me again ... who’s the racists?
Barak doesn’t give a damn about Americans of ANY color!
I never was more tired of the words “Black Community.” Just like the “Jewish Community” which sells Israel down the river. Thank the Lord He put some time bombs into our Founding Fathers’ words: free men are free men, righteous men are righteous men, conscientious men are conscientious men, and trash is trash, no matter the color of their skin or where their great-great-great-great grandfathers came from.
“The black community has and is continuing to fail the black community.”
And they still flock to their black messiah. Apparently, intelligence was bred out when welfare became inbred.
The black community will never improve until they start taking responsibility for their own actions....stop the Black Racism....and get rid of their “leadership”
When success is deemed “acting white”...you have a boatload of problems
And, Obama just exacerbates the problem
~ Larry Elder, "The Ten Things You Can't Say In America"
What can any president do about hundreds of little clans of childen of one mother and who knows how many sires being “raised” by their mother and/or maternal
grandmother at public expense? Meanwhile, this “life style” appears to be increasingly “normalized” among others than black citizens. There is no governmental remedy.
The illegitimate, bisexual, Marxist Kenyan Muslim Usurper could eat a live negro fetus on BET and still get 96% of the negro vote.
Obama has failed every community. Blacks who voted for him based on the color of his skin and the handouts he promised them deserve to fail. But they’ll vote for him again.
Not all that big a deal. Gore got 90% and Kerry 88%.
Don't know the turnout numbers, but I suspect the 08 numbers were considerably higher. But the percentages not that different.

Sorry about the messed up post(s).
When Obama came on the TV screen to speak about the Colorado theatre shootings, both sets of black families got up and moved to chairs in the front center of the room directly under and in front of the TV. They looked up unwaveringly, mesmerized, eyes glued to the screen, as though God himself had just appeared with a message for all mankind.
It gave me a spooky feeling. It was very depressing to see that kind of adulation for someone based on, apparently, race.
You all are right; he has their vote no matter what. I think he could have been telling them they would be loaded onto boxcars and delivered to death camps and they would have been fine with it. Seeing this made me realize how unbreakable is the racial bond between black people and their messiah. They responded to his televised image is if that is exactly who they believed him to be. Very disconcerting.
Please don't call me a racist. I am not...but I wonder if those people are.
