Powerful conservative Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., thinks former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin deserves a prime speaking position at the Republican convention.
"I'd love to see Sarah Palin have a big slot — as far as speaking — because there's no one still in America that excites the base of conservatives and even libertarians as she does,” he told Fox News Thursday.
“She can draw a crowd more than any other Republican, and I think has more influence in primaries than any other endorsement right now, so I think she'd be good."

Well if so, it makes things so very much simpler the day (after) the election.
Because in that case, it’s all hands on deck from day one, to replace Romney in 2016.
I’m still waiting to see, whether Romney has a moment of clarity, and buys himself some time to maneuver first.

Romney drags his feet to pay Palin even the least bit of basic human respect because Romney is a first class jerk. Palin would do well to keep him at a distance.

Every single person who got an endorsement by Sarah Palin in 2010 owes it to her to demand publicly and loudly that the GOP have a speaking slot for Sarah.

They know Sarah cannot be bought and needs NO political favors - so they are taking a chance and I bet they feel they need to be sure. I don't trust them. I think they are afraid of her going off and getting the delegates and they want her CLOSE to them. With godless Romney in the picture, nothing is as it appears with that snake in the grass!

I wouldn’t doubt it. The man is not normal. According to the book, folks who know him say he isn’t interested in making small talk or chit chat with people outside his bubble-—in other words, wealthy Mormons. Quote, “He isn’t interested in anyone’s spouse, or kids, or what’s going on in their lives.” So all of the smiling talk you see at campaign stops is completely phony; in reality, he can’t wait to get away from those unwashed peasants and sanitize his hands.
