Simple question, simple answer.
In the land of the free and the home of the brave, who are you and who's your slave.
So what you are advocating is removing medical
care from the purview of science and education and
placing it in the hands of “the church”.
Wasn’t it “the church” that brought us the
Inquisition? Isn’t it “the church” that brought
us wholesale pedophilia combined with an organized
effort to deflect investigation and cover up that
pedophilia? No thanks. I’m all for limiting the
power .gov has over medicine but giving that power to
the church is a recipe for a different kind of disaster.

If you are a Christian, you body belongs to God, and was given to you to do his work in the world
However, we doctors are also obeying the Redeemer and Great Healer when we study for years and learn how to treat and care for the sick. In the words of the great healer (and Christian) Pare: "I treated him, but God healed him".
Makes all the difference in, and out of this world.
