Aside from the suspensions, loss of scholarships, fines, etc. not being enough to compensate the children victims of Sandusky, there is something further that can be done for the other innocent victims in the football program.
PSU should be required to give the full unrealized value of the scholarships of their players toward scholarships at other institutions and the players should be free to go whethever they are wanted - funded by PSU. Those scholarships should be exempt from the maximum number of scholarships the other teams are allowed to offer.

The players havve been hosed big time

Those kids Sandusky abused were hosed much worse. The innocent always pay for others' sins.

Agreed, Joe is dead so he doesn’t care. I agree with all the panalties except the NCAA should be forced to give the money towards the victims, and how does one pretend that victories that occured didn’t? I could see Grambling being in favor of this PC move, but the players didn’t rape anybody. Does anyone ever think Penn State will ever outlive this scandal? SMU has not...Hell blow Joes statue up on the 50 yard line for all I care, but players should be allowed to transfer anywhere that accepts them.

The good news is all of the players are free to transfer.

Penn State will quickly become walk-on U.

Part of the punishment was that Penn State players could immediately go elsewhere without penalty, or choose to not play football at Penn State yet still receive their scholarship.

“The players havve been hosed big time.”

I think they get to transfer and not sit out a year.
