High turnout totally favors Cruz - that’s been Dewhurst’s nightmare all along. VERY few people vote in a runoff election that wasn’t even from a real election, only a primary. It makes it so the voters who have an axe to grind, such as getting Cruz up in there, have an advantage over the midstream candidate.

Yeah, I think Dan has decided he prefers his colleague Dewhurst, and I imagine he is getting a LOT of grief from the listeners. But I’ve never seen him like this - angry and bitter sounding. He’s been the one that’s gotten more and more conservatives into the Tx Government. I don’t know why he’s so sour on Cruz.
