NEW YORK -- Mayor Michael Bloomberg is again calling on the presidential candidates to come up with a specific plan on gun control.
Bloomberg said today it is incumbent on President Barack Obama and GOP candidate Mitt Romney to address the issue "specifically -- not in just broad terms."

I’ve got a ‘specific’ term for you Blommy...
“SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED”
Can’t get more specific than that.

Norway’s tough gun laws didn’t stop that shooter that killed 87 kids. Chi-Congo has tough gun laws and it doesn’t stop the shooting there. What gun laws does he propose?

Hey, I'm down with that. I think 0bama and the Dems
should come out with a major, draconian set of gun control laws including confiscation and mandatory prison sentences for gun owners...and make it a major party plank.
And then see what happens.

How about we extend the idea of the healthcare "Mandate". Every adult will be required to purchase a handgun suitable for self defense and carry. Those who do not do this voluntarily will be
taxed err..
penalized err.. assessed a fee by the government and one will be issued to you. The government will foster and hawk self defense tactical training programs just like they do exercise programs. Free ammunition will be provided to asure that everyone can afford range time (ala free contraception).
There. That's a plan.

I am so sick of billionaire New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg trying to tell everyone what to do. There are tons of gun laws on the books but criminals just laugh at them, as criminals always laugh at the law. You pretty much cannot legally posses a firearm in Manhattan but even though New York crime statistics have fallen hundreds of people still get shot in Manhattan every year. So much for the efficiacy of gun laws.
I hope Mitt Romney quietly ignores Bloomberg and doesn't start making the usual BS noises about more gun control laws that we all know are useless against the hard core criminal element or crazies, like the Aurora Colorado killer, Holmes. Mike Bloomberg can go pound sand.

When that Elmerfuddian douchebag gives up all his armed protection, I'll give up mine.
And when he lets me tell him what he can and can't eat, I'll let him do the same to me.

The GOPe Republican National Candidate in 2020 and FREEPERS will be saying, “You have to vote for him”...”Most important election in our lifetime.” “He is better than the Democrat” Blah Blah Blah....Some here think I am kidding. He would change back to a Republican in a heartbeat and the Republicans would spread their wings to bring him back to the fold...I am not even kidding.

Does Bloomberg have a private/armed security detail?
That would be rich.

If Bloomy were in control of his faculties, he would come out in favor of lunatic control - which very frequently requires one or more guns combined with overwhelming force.
Bloomy's time has past. He just needs to shut up and go away.
Of course, that needs to happen voluntarily because the stupid people who vote for him take no responsibility at all for their own bodily integrity.
