>>”When BSA welcomes gays into their ranks, my family leaves BSA.”<<

I enrolled my son in scouts up in Virginia. Come to find out, the scout leader was a lesbian.

Went to a couple of gatherings, not knowing this was the scout leader. I just thought it was some butchy lady helping out.

Nope......dyed in the wool diesel dike.

We left.

APNewsBreak: Boy Scouts reaffirm ban on gays
July 17, 2012

“... The announcement suggests that hurdles may be high for a couple of members of the (volunteer) national executive board — Ernst & Young CEO James Turley and AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson — who have recently indicated they would try to work from within to change the policy. Both of their companies have been commended by gay-rights groups for gay-friendly employment policies. ...”

AT&T CEO Stephenson is next in line to assume the top position of president of the executive board in 2014.

AT&T and Ernst&Young are both members of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (currently has 119 corporate members)
