My daughter lives in Goliad. I don’t care for it. To many wanna-be gangbangers there for my tastes. Love the historical stuff there though. :)
You’re right, it’s the historical aura that is appealing. Goliad is very small and they have been fighting the military over an old airport they want to use for flight training. They fear the constant noise.
The Missions are wonderful to see, and the ghost stories associated with them, lol.
